If you read Bucks Life Magazine then click away now, these are a few screen shots from the upcoming holiday issue. :)

First is my ad, not bad placement I must say. Also of note, the wedding detail of the top hat with the scrabble letters spelling out LOVE was shot at The Fernbrook Bed & Breakfast which is mentioned predominantly in Max Hansen's ad and I am a preferred vendor there as well :)

Lilly Salvatore! My wife and I have been going to Lilly's on the Canal since we first started dating and it was a real treat for me to get to meet and photograph her at her newest restaurant, Lilly's Meals in Stockton. 

Blake and Trixie are an unstoppable duo, just look at all those awards that they've won together (and that wasn't all of them!) Really fun shoot on a beautiful fall Bucks Co day...

Thanks as always to the good people of Bucks Life. I understand the next issue will be all about food, so you know I can't wait to get started on that!

More great magazine stuff. Dr. Deb (of Red Thread By Dr. Deb) just sent me a really nice email and posted this great comment on her facebook page in regard to the portrait session we did for the latest issues of BUCKS LIFE Magazine and MainLine Magazine. Deb makes and sells a focused assortment of apparel and accessories for women who have undergone mastectomy or lumpectomy procedures. Monica Mangin and Jessica Jackson are DIY bloggers who call themselves “The Real Housewives of Bucks County” (www.realhousewivesofbuckscounty.com). They’ve appeared a few times on the afternoon talk show, “The Nate Berkus Show,” and were a feature for the latest issue of Bucks Life Magazine which this image was shot for. They are both so much fun to photograph and their energy and enthusiasm comes through in these images and their blog. 

An excerpt and one of my favorites.  

Oh, and I was asked to mention that they are not usually this orange but had just returned from a trip to Mexico :)

It's Friday and time to party so I chose this image taken at a wedding reception at the Mummer's Museum to bring an end to Lensbaby week. This image was taken with the plastic lens insert and then finished in Nik software's Dfine, which is great for noise reduction.

1.20.12: Two features in Bucks Life Magazine :)

Last month I had the pleasure of photographing Kristin Meil, of Meil's in Stockton, NJ, along with her daughter Sarah, and Kristin's pups Yogi and Blueberry for a feature on Kristin's venture into home-cooked meals for dogs: K9-Meils for Bucks Life Magazine. 

A few days later I again had the pleasure of photographing a feature for Bucks Life. This time of chef Fabian Quiros of Salt Creek Grill in Princeton. They did a 2 page feature of chef highlighting one of his favorite recipes: Rib-Eye with Coffee and Chocolate Rub and a Bourbon Caramel Sauce! It was dinner and dessert all in one! 

Here are a few screenshots from the online version of the winter issue. I haven't seen it in stands yet, but keep and eye out and pick it up if you see it. Lots of great chef's featured including our friend Sam Jacobson of Sycamore in Landsdowne! Also keep an eye out for the print ad our friend Tara Devlin Kearns did for me (she also did my logo!)
