Beth and Shane: Margate 1.11.14

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of photographing my new friends Beth and Shane's gorgeous shore wedding. As everyone knows, the weather the last month has been nuts! Mostly cold and snowy with a few random 60 degree days, rain, fog, etc... well their wedding day had a bit of the weather issue going but the most amazing thing kept happening, the rain seemed to stop each time we were to be outside and would kick back up once we'd head back in... someone was definitely watching over us! In any event, we were able to hit a few landmarks and take some really gorgeous and unique wedding portraits and I think you'll see that everyone was having a good time... and Shane made a few extra bucks on the bus ride too!

The wedding was held at The Blessed Sacrament Church in Margate and the reception at the wonderful Linwood Country Club. Can not say enough about that place! Yes, it's a great space and the food was great, but it was the staff who were all genuinely friendly and helpful. (which is becoming something of a rarity these days unfortunately... but I digress.)

Big City kept the party jumping and the big finale was when Beth and her girls took the stage! I feel like I've seen a lot of things at weddings over the years, but I've never seen a bride and her maids rock the stage. It was great!

Lastly a big thank you to my second shooter/assistant Shaina. She was great, always in the right spot and a huge help with the umbrellas and lights!

Vendor info is at the bottom as always. Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone enjoys the images!

10.30.13: Jim+Felice's Rittenhouse Wedding

To say I've enjoyed getting to know Jim and Felice is a tremendous understatement. Their trust in me to not only photograph this beautiful wedding but also to allow me to document the amazing renovations that Jim's construction company performs is truly an honor.

My fondness goes beyond that though, these two are genuinely fun people who value family and friends above all else, and this night was as much an honor to them as it was to Jim and Felice. My wife will tell you that typically after a wedding it's my back or maybe knees that are sore but this weekend it was my face that ached from all the laughing we did that night!

Thank you Felice and Jim, and to the rest of your family who were so fun to talk to!

 Mom was first to arrive.

I became very close to Elmo
